Tomato cucumber onion koshimbir is also known as raita in hindi. This healthy, delicious salad is easy to make and is ready in minutes. It is a perfect accompaniment with any indian curry.
Adding chopped cilantro (coriander) to this salad makes it even more flavoursome.
Make sure to use thick yogurt (curd) and serve immediately when ready to avoid it from becoming watery.
If you want it spicy, you can add one small finely chopped green chilli. As my family doesn't prefer spicy salad, I skip adding green chilli.
This salad is not just rich in vitamins C and K but as it contains yogurt (curd) it is also high in protein and calcium.
